Nobody buys a bike. They buy a build.

Frame size, frame colour, groupset, wheelset, bars, saddle: chosen separately, all visible on the finished bike, all affecting the price. The catalogue shows one build in one colour and asks the customer to imagine the other hundred and nineteen.

Why custom sports gear resists a catalogue

Six choices, and the photograph can only show one of them.

Five frame sizes, four colours, three groupsets, two wheelsets. That is one product page and a hundred and twenty finished bikes, and a studio can afford to shoot perhaps three of them.

So the customer picks from dropdowns, waits for a quote to come back by email, and finds out what they actually bought when it arrives. Every one of those gaps is somewhere the sale can die.

1
frame model, every build

The frame is modelled once. Sizes, finishes and components are applied to it, so every build in the range renders from the same source, and a new colourway costs a render, not a season.

what they configure is what ships
What changes for you

From one hero shot to the bike they are actually configuring.

The device updates as they choose.

Body finish, side panels and trim render on the same unit, so a change to one part is seen against everything already chosen, from any angle, at any detail.

The price moves with it.

Every option carries its price, so the quote is built as the unit is. The customer sees what an upgrade costs at the moment they consider it, instead of waiting a day to find out.

What is inside stops being a spec line.

The flywheel, the board and the housing are all in the same model. Rendering the build from the real geometry means the picture matches the unit that ships, not a stand-in.

A new finish is a render, not a season.

Add a material to the set and every panel picks it up at once: no second shoot, no mismatched lighting between last year's photos and this year's.

It was very easy to work with them. The project was created on time, professional team. In our case, they succeeded in every step that we ordered.

Challenge

A product nobody had seen before, with frame materials, colours and components to choose, sold from a PrestaShop store that could show one photo and a price list.

Solution / Result
  • A 3D configurator on the product page: materials, colours and components switched live on the model.
  • Prices and materials read from PrestaShop, the finished build written back to its cart.
  • Web AR from the same configuration, opened from the browser with nothing to install.

A configured build is a qualified lead. It carries the size, the components and the price the customer already agreed to.

Your sales team stops quoting and starts closing.

Beyond bikes

The same pipeline, wherever personalisation is the product.

A bike is the hard case: many parts, visible geometry, real price differences. Anything simpler is already covered by the same models, materials and rules.

Footwear

Colourways, materials and panels on one last, rendered per combination instead of photographed per sample.

Apparel & kit

Jerseys, hoodies and team kit with placement graphics, club colours and names applied to the same garment model.

Surfboards & boards

Shapes, dimensions and graphics, where the artwork is the product and no two orders match.

Golf equipment

Clubs, shafts, grips and bags, where the spec sheet is long and the visual difference is subtle but decisive.

Accessories

Bottles, helmets, mats and bags: low price, high volume, and impossible to photograph at range.

Your range

If it is configured before it is made, it can be rendered before it is sold.

How it fits your systems

The configurator is not an island.

E-commerce, POS or CRM

The finished build leaves as a structured order (components, price and images) for the system you already run on.

Stock-aware options

Options are data, not artwork. A groupset that goes out of stock is switched off in the catalogue; nothing is re-rendered and nothing is re-shot.

Dealers and showrooms

The same configurator on the counter screen. The dealer builds the bike with the customer, from your catalogue and your current availability.

FAQ

Questions bike and sports brands actually ask.

We sell through dealers, not direct.
Then the configurator is the dealer's tool. They build the bike with the customer at the counter, from your catalogue and your current component availability, and the order leaves with the spec already agreed.
Our component options change with supply.
Options are data, not artwork. A groupset that goes out of stock is switched off in the catalogue; nothing has to be re-rendered or re-shot, and nothing anywhere else changes.
Do you model every component?
Only the ones that change what the bike looks like. A hidden bearing needs no model; a crankset, a wheelset and a bar shape do. That is what keeps the first build affordable.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes. Most configuring happens on phones, so the renders are prepared for mobile weight: that work is the difference between a configurator and a loading spinner.
Can it quote as well as visualise?
That is usually the point. Each option carries its price, so the customer sees the running total as they build, and your team receives a spec that has already been priced and accepted.
We already have photography we are happy with.
Keep it. Renders cover the combinations photography cannot reach, the other hundred and seventeen builds, and sit beside your hero shots rather than replacing them.

Show the build, and price it as they build it

Send us one frame model and your component list. You get every size, colour and build, rendered, with a quote that updates as the customer chooses.
